While many mental health treatment plans focus on continued, gradual, and persistent improvement through care, Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) offers a more expedient, crash-course style of treatment. Here at Courageous Counseling & Consulting, our founder, Jessica Harrison, is proud to offer intensive counseling sessions for individuals looking to accelerate results.

What are Accelerated Resolution Therapy Intensives?

ART Intensives are two days of multiple sessions of ART THERAPY from 9a-5p to address specific areas and situations causing distress. During an initial consultation, we will determine a treatment plan based on the clients specific needs.

Who is a candidate for Accelerated Resolution Therapy Intensives?

Candidates for intensives typically have failed past experiences with traditional talk therapy. They may be people who cannot commit to regular; long-term therapy due to scheduling issues. They may be someone who has been “stuck” in therapy and needs additional help to progress. They may be actively waiting for placement into a mental health facility (i.e, Intensive Outpatient Program or Partial Hospitalization Program) Those interested in intensives cannot be in crisis.

Will my insurance cover this?

Intensives are individual sessions that are PRIVATE PAY ONLY; non-refundable down payments are required. Private pay means that we will not file insurance for you, but we will provide you receipts upon request to submit for possible reimbursement from your insurance company. We cannot guarantee that your insurance will cover treatment. We require full payment at the time of service via cash, credit, debit, or HSA/FSA card.

How are intensives offered?

Intensives are offered in person at our office in San Antonio or virtually throughout Texas. Residents from other states can travel to San Antonio, Texas for the service. (We need to add area hotels so that they can make accommodations if attending in person.)

What is the Typical Schedule?

Below is an example of the schedule for a typical two-day intensive. However, this schedule is flexible according to need and therapist direction.

• 9:00-10 Initial Consultation and Treatment Plan (packets will be emailed and need to be completed prior to Day One) (If you live in Texas you may choose to have an initial consultation prior to day one so that you can begin work with ART promptly at 9am.)
• 10-12 ART Sessions
• 12-1 Lunch
• 1-2:30 ART Sessions
• 2:30-2:45 Break
• 2:45-4:45 ART Sessions
• 4:45-5 Debrief and Wrap Up

DAY TWO

• 9:00-10:30 ART Sessions
• 10:30-10:40 Break
• 10:45-12 ART Sessions
• 12-1 Lunch
• 1:00-2:30 ART Sessions
• 2:30-2:40 Break
• 2:40-4:40 ART Sessions
• 4:40-5 Debrief and Wrap-up

$937.50 is due at the time of scheduling to secure a spot. *This fee is non-refundable.
$937.50 is due 1 week prior to the scheduled intensive. *This fee is non-refundable.
$1875 is due the morning of scheduled intensive prior to beginning sessions.
